I Am Having Trouble Pairing My Scanner. How Do I Fix This?

First, please be sure to read our FAQ on how to properly pair your Chisel, here.

If you have tried pairing your phone to your Chisel but you're still having trouble, please use the following helpful tips as they are common errors:
  1. Be sure that your Chisel is turned ON (the light ring should be green) before you press and hold the power button to make it turn blue.
  2. When you press and hold the power button to make it turn blue, be sure that you are pressing firmly on the center of the button and not on the edge. 
  3. Disconnect any other Bluetooth devices that are connected to your phone while pairing with your Chisel. When your Chisel has been paired, you can re-connect the other devices. This is especially the problem when your app gets stuck on the screen shown below, after your Chisel's light ring has successfully turned green.
